At ARCH:ID 2026, we unpacked the anatomy of one of Jakarta’s most transformative public spaces, Tebet Eco Park, sharing the strategic story of how a degraded, physically separated site was re-engineered into a functioning blueprint for urban success alongside Karsa City Lab and Astra Property.
The opening of Taman Bendera Pusaka marks the completion of a journey to reunite the site’s heritage with its ecological potential. By weaving together the three separated parks and improving water quality, we designed a unified park that actively responds to its environment, proving that thoughtful design can be both beautiful and functional.
The groundbreaking officially marks the transformation of Taman Semanggi into a humanistic and ecological green space by reclaming 6 hectares of green space at the city’s busiest intersection, the project targeted for completion on Jakarta’s 500th celebration anniversary.
